Brian Inkster in the Inksterplex
Brian Inkster in the Inksterplex

Brian Inkster formed the law firm Inksters on 1 May 1999.

In the beginning it was just Brian Inkster and his PA, Fiona Bracelin, in a small office within Inter-City House in Glasgow and then one in Baltic Chambers in Glasgow. A Motel One Hotel now occupies the site that Inter-City House once did.

Today there is a team of solicitors and legal administrators with an estate agent, elder law advisor and legal process engineer serving clients throughout Scotland from the Inksterplex at 142 St. Vincent Street in Glasgow and offices in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Eigg, Forfar, Inverness, Lerwick, Portree, Thurso and Wick.

The growth of the firm is a result of entrepreneurship and in particular the innovative use of marketing and technology.

Inksters is an award winning recommended law firm.

Inksters operate a different type of model from the traditional partnership. At Inksters senior lawyers work as a collective, with enhanced technology and back-office support. A hub-and-spoke model exists with a back office “hub” and “spokes” elsewhere. This is Plug & Play Law.
